Home & Remote Learning
We believe that parents and carers must foster their child’s love of learning by regularly listening to their children reading aloud and by checking in with what their children are learning at school on a daily basis.
Online Learning Platforms
All children have been given their personal log in details to the following online learning platforms. These sites will be checked by your child's teachers and they will set new tasks for children as they complete the work set. Please click on the images below:
Google Classroom has now been set up for the children to share their learning. As you can imagine using a new online platform is a massive task to undertake for both the children and our staff. We are continuing to develop and navigate a new way of working for children, parents and staff, so please bear with us and thank you in advance for your ongoing support. For our further support please see our Google Classroom page
Remote Learning Pupil Feedback
Thank you to all of you for your feedback regarding remote learning, we will be using this information to help us know how we can change some of the learning in school and how we can include remote learning in the classroom when we return to school. From the analysis of your feedback we can see that there were both positive and negatives to remote learning. Some of your suggestions for how we can include Google Classroom going forward match the discussions we have been having in school. Over the next couple of months we will be trialling different ways to see how we can use this platform to support learning going forward.
