Home Learning

Following the Government's decision to close school in light of the Corona Virus as of Monday 23rd March, we will be updating this page with home learning for each year group:

We are currently setting up Google Classroom for the children to share their learning. As you can imagine this is a massive job to organise for over 400 children and to train our staff on a new platform during this time of emergency, so please bear with us as we all navigate a new way of working for children, parents and staff.

Online Learning Platforms

All children have been given their personal log in details to the following online learning platforms. These sites will be checked by your child's teachers daily and they will set new tasks for children as they complete the work set. Please click on the images below:

Whole School:

Bug Club is a finely-levelled reading scheme, which ensures that all children can find books at exactly the right level for them.

MyMaths is an interactive online teaching and homework subscription website for schools that builds pupil engagement and consolidates maths knowledge.

Times Tables Rock Stars is a carefully sequenced programme of daily times tables practice.

Project based Learning

As a whole school project we would like the children to watch programmes such as ‘Blue Planet’ and create a PowerPoint or word document that can be shared electronically on their return. Please share your children’s learning with us on twitter (if you are able to).
